ALLENTOWN, Pa. -- Rudy Seanez, who has been on the disabled list since Aug. 1 with right shoulder inflammation, just tossed a clean eighth inning tonight for triple-A Lehigh Valley in his first minor-league rehab appearance. He recorded one strikeout and threw 11 pitches, eight strikes.
Seanez is slated to pitch Wednesday night at single-A Lakewood before rejoining the Phillies. He likely will be activated before Saturday night's game at San Diego.
