LAS VEGAS -- According to a report on Yahoo! Sports, the Phils are close to signing free-agent right-hander Chan Ho Park to a one-year contract. It's 9:25 p.m. here, and thus far, Ruben Amaro Jr. hasn't answered a call or a text message, but we'll keep trying.
Park, 35, went 4-4 with a 3.40 ERA in 54 games (four starts) for the Dodgers last season. He has been both a starter and a reliever throughout his career, so potentially, he could slot into the back of the Phillies' rotation or into the middle of their bullpen.
