So, I reunited with Mike Radano of the Camden (N.J.) Courier Post a few minutes ago, and we recorded a new audiofile. In today's edition, we discussed the Phillies' slumbering offense, the chances of adding another player before September, and the stretch run. Speaking of which, with only 38 games left, we're going to try to do this on the first game of every series.

Scott, can you find out from Charlie if he plans on throwing Hamels on Friday, thus he'd pitch in BOTH mets series.
Regards,
Matt
Seconded. Please ask Charlie about this. Hamels needs to pitch against the Mets and starting him Friday is the only way to do it without pitching him on short rest.
Matt & Matt (is that like Mike & Mike?): Great question. I'll look into it today and let you know.
Awesome! Thanks, Scott. It would definitely be smart, since it lines up Cole against Johan Santana both times instead of leaving KENDRICK against Santana twice in the middle of a division chase!
