Good morning.No official word yet on Freddy Garcia's condition. I still expect some kind of update later today. But Jon Lieber said he remains slated to pitch one or two innings against the Red Sox in relief of Jamie Moyer. To me, that may be a sign that the Phillies aren't worried about Garcia missing a start. Check back later for more, though.
For now, the Phillies' clubhouse is closed to the media while the team gets briefed by folks from MLB Security. Before the doors were shut, I peeked at the lineup card. The Phillies have all of their regulars, except Shane Victorino, against Sox starters Tim Wakefield and Jonathan Papelbon. Victorino is simply getting the day off.

So Lieber claims to be "a piece of meat?" At $7.5 mil this year, he's a good cut. But he could trim some of the fat. Anyone feel sorry for this clueless clod?
