April 8 -- WHAT'S HE WATCHING?

Last season, Marlins LHP Scott Olsen memorably said he "hates" the Phillies, which probably had something to do with the three losses he suffered against them in September. Olsen is pitching against the Phillies today, and he told the Miami Herald that his feelings about them haven't changed. Then, he offered this rather inaccurate scouting report: "They don't strike out too much, which doesn't work well for me. They have a lot of contact guys that put the ball in play, and they make me throw a lot of pitches, unfortunately for me."

Ummm, Scott, the Phillies were fourth in the majors last season with 1,203 strikeouts, and they have some of the most frequent whiffers in the game with Ryan Howard, Pat Burrell and Chase Utley.
