Rollins, who irritated fans with his comments on last night's episode of Fox Sports Net's "Best Damn Sports Show Period," will re-appear on the show tonight before the Phillies seek to stave off a four-game sweep by the Dodgers. He's scheduled to join the show by telephone from Dodger Stadium, and presumably, he'll clarify what he meant when he called Philly fans "front-runners" during his in-studio appearance yesterday. According to a Fox spokesman, transcripts of Rollins' comments will be available to the media after he concludes his interview. At that time, we'll bring them to you here.

He'll lie and say it was taken out of context (even with video proof). Wake up, phillies fans - this guy doesn't give a hoot about you or the team. Look for another "injury" soon. He's a lot like Ramirez. Rumor is more than a few of his teammates wouldn't cry over a vacancy at SS.
This just goes to show how differently something can read on a printed page (or Web Page) and sound when spoken. There's no maliciousness or anger there from Rollins. As I said in my reply to the previous post about this, there's some truth to what Rollins says - but he picked a bad time to say it. I think he'd be better off letting it lay there than trying to address it again tonight - but we'll see.
For my part, I'm not angry at Rollins - just sick of the way this team is playing.
It's crystal clear that Rollins lacks every single offensive spark he had last year. He's not even fun to watch anymore. Seems like once he was named MVP, he's been acting like a little b*tch, and going against the grain for the sake of going against the grain. Frankly, it's now just become annoying. Quit your bit*hing, Jimmy, and hustle your ass off for every red cent you earn, or these fans will ride you harder than you can imagine.
