Mar. 15 -- UTLEY LEADING OFF (UPDATED)

BY SCOTT LAUBER

CLEARWATER, Fla. -- Looks who's leading off today against the Cardinals ...

2B Chase Utley
CF Jayson Werth
DH Greg Dobbs
1B Ryan Howard
LF Raul Ibanez
3B Pedro Feliz
RF Geoff Jenkins
SS Jason Donald
C Carlos Ruiz

(Updated, 1:25 p.m.): Nice ovation for Utley before his first at-bat. Another big crowd here today. Utley struck out looking on the fifth pitch from Kyle Lohse. He took the first two pitches for balls, then took a strike and fouled off the fourth pitch.

(Updated, 1:55 p.m.): Utley grounded to first base to end the third inning.

(Updated, 2:11 p.m.): Utley out of the game after four innings. Meanwhile, the area behind home plate, directly in front of the press box windows, are under attack by a swarm of insects, seemingly bees. Line of the day comes from Keith Olbermann, who said, "I thought the B games are played in the morning." More from Utley (and hopefully, not the bees) later.
