Mar. 17 -- LINEUPS, ROTATIONS & MORE

BY SCOTT LAUBER

CLEARWATER, Fla. -- Happy St. Patty's Day, everyone.

Kind of a slow morning here at Bright House Field. No updates yet on Cole Hamels. He will see team physician Dr. Michael Ciccotti this morning, and as soon as we hear something, we will pass it along. For now, though, some routine book-keeping.

Today's lineup vs. the Reds:
2B Chase Utley
SS Eric Bruntlett
LF Raul Ibanez
1B Ryan Howard
RF Matt Stairs
3B Pedro Feliz
CF John Mayberry Jr.
C Carlos Ruiz
RHP Brett Myers
Also slated to pitch: Gary Majewski, Chad Durbin, Clay Condrey and Brad Lidge.

For those of you planning a trip to spring training (it is spring break, ya know), here's a week's worth of pitching rotations for the Phillies:
Wednesday vs. Blue Jays, in Clearwater: LHP J.A. Happ, RHP Ryan Madson, LHP Scott Eyre. LHP Jamie Moyer (minor-league game).
Thursday at Marlins, in Jupiter: RHP Joe Blanton, Condrey, RHP Bobby Mosebach, Lidge.
Friday at Cardinals, in Jupiter: RHP Carlos Carrasco, Durbin, Madson.
Saturday vs. Twins, in Clearwater: RHP Chan Ho Park, RHP Kyle Kendrick, Condrey, Eyre, Lidge.
Sunday vs. Red Sox, in Fort Myers: Myers, Durbin, Madson, Mosebach.
Monday vs. Yankees, in Clearwater: Moyer, Happ, Condrey, Eyre, Lidge.
Tuesday at Blue Jays, in Dunedin: Blanton, Durbin, Madson, Mosebach.

***
For political junkies like me: Former White House press secretary Ari Fleischer will speak to the Phillies tomorrow about dealing with the media. Wish I could sit in on that one, too.

More in a bit.

It's also Spring Break here in South Texas on Mustang Island (where Port A is). The students have descended like locusts and I have Philly style traffic for my drive home today. But it's only one week out of 52, better than my Newark to Ridley commute where it was 52 weeks out of 52! I have my Phillies Championship flag flying this week. It annoys my Astro neighbors.
